Simple Farming Mod 1.16.4/1.15.2 (More Fruits, Vegetables, and Meals)

 Simple Farming Mod 1.16.4/1.15.2 is a Minecraft 1.14 Forge agriculture mod. It focuses on expanding the vanilla farming system by adding new fruits, vegetables, and meals.

Features:

Cheese:

You might notice that the cheese slice is needed for a lot of meals. However, this item has no recipe. To obtain cheese slices, you must first craft the wheel of cheese. This is done by combining a milk bucket with a bottle of vinegar. This dynamic block can be placed down like a cake block, and whenever you need cheese slices, you can simply right-click the wheel of cheese to yield one slice.

Seed:

Much like vanilla Minecraft, seeds can be gathered by breaking grass or wild crops depending on your config options. The different seed types are listed below.

Grape Vineyards:

The grape growing process is very different from normal crops. A brief tutorial will be explained below:

Planting the grape seeds in the dirt will result in the following plant. You will quickly notice that it grows no grapes.

To grow grapes, any type of fence block will need to be attached to the side of the grape leaves. You can only extend the fences one block away from the main leaves.

Here is a simple example of a continued grape vineyard. It is done by planting two seeds and having two fences hang off of each side.

With the large variety of vegetables and fruits, it can sometimes be difficult deciding what to plant. This image may help with your decision

Berry and fruit harvesting is far less complex. Each fruit will give you 4 hunger and 0.3 saturation, and each berry will give you 2 hunger and 0.1 saturation.

How to install:

  1. Make sure you have already installed Minecraft Forge.
  2. Locate the minecraft application folder.
    • On windows open Run from the start menu, type %appdata% and click Run.
    • On mac open finder, hold down ALT and click Go then Library in the top menu bar. Open the folder Application Support and look for Minecraft.
  3. Place the mod you have just downloaded (.jar file) into the Mods folder.
  4. When you launch Minecraft and click the mods button you should now see the mod is installed.
